The Staff- Humphrey Kalomo, Founder/internetational Overseer
 

Humphrey Kalomo was born on July 24, 1981 in Kitwe Zambia. He is the last born in the family of five. He has three sisters and one brothers not counting his second born brother who passed away in 1999.

Humphrey was brought up by his single parent, Petronella Kalomo, a hardworking mother, farmer, and a primary head school teacher.  His father was Benson Mpampi Kalomo, a farmer and fisherman. His mother died when Humphrey reached 12 and his father died a year latter. His parents separated when he was just a baby so, he never knew his dad and only saw him once in his lifetime when Mr. Benson visited Humphrey a year after Humphrey's mother died. Life for Humphrey became hard after loosing both of his parents. He could not help it but found himself on the street corner selling groceries to make a living and help him continue going to school to finish Jr. High and High School. In High School Humphrey also started on a job as a photographer.  On may 24, 1996, Humphrey found God and gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and ever since, God has been transforming Humphrey's life. In High School, he served as School Scripture Union chairperson. At eighteen years old, Humphrey graduated from Chamboli High School with a Grade twelve leaving examination diploma.

On January 3, 2000 Humphrey took on a job as security guard and worked for SafeTech International Security Company. He worked for this company for four months and then resigned and took on a youth pastor volunteer position at Kitwe City Cell Church, in Wusakile Township, Zambia. At the same time, he opened a private primary school in Kitwe and worked as a teacher on training. At this school, he successfully taught in all primary school grades for a year and half.

 THE BIRTH OF THE VISION                           

On May 24, 2001  Humphrey founded and launched the vision he believed God gave him at 12 years old. This vision was put in writing and was birthed under  the name "House of Hope Ministries." At this very time Humphrey was still serving as a youth Pastor at Kitwe City Cell Church and continued teaching at the school.  The vision which is better translated a "ministry" was first transmitted and communicated to the youth ministry they called "Fountain of life youth group" and latter to the whole Church body. People young and old including former senior pastor of Kitwe Cell Church Pastor Morrow Musonda captured it and begun running with it. Today, the vision has been communicate and supported not only in Zambia where it was born, but also in the United States of America under the name "Home of Hope Foundation." Furthermore, Pastor Humphrey is praying for a break through to open branches in Harare Zimbabwe, Kinshasa Congo, Pretoria South Africa and Nairobi Kenya in the next two Years.

COMING TO AMERICA

In August 2002, Humphrey came to the USA with twofold purpose: first, to study theology at Ozark Christian College. Second, To raise support and awareness among the Christian community to support the vision. In the fall of 2006 brother Humphrey graduated from Ozark Christian College with a bachelors degree in Christian Ministry--Preaching major. On May 21, 2006 he was ordained into full time ministry by Green Country Independent Christian Church and  the Current president of Ozark Christian College, Mr. Matthew Proctor who led the ordination service.

HIS MARRIAGE 

Humphrey Kalomo is maried to Prudence Lukupwa and they have one baby boy called Nathan Blessing Kalomo. They have been married for almost five years now.

CURRENT

Humphrey continues serving as pastor of Green Country Independent Christian Church in Vinita Oklahoma USA and as a Director of Home of Hope Ministry and Foundation, he is a CEO of Hope Network Solutions, which is a website design, hosting and computer repair enterprise. Also, He has continued working on a Masters of Art in Ministry, and Associate in Applied computer science.
